Description:

Background The Morden & District United Way is an organization operated by volunteers living in our community. One of the functions is to raise and allocate funds for the betterment of our residents via agencies such as South Central Cancer Resource Centre, Morden Services for Seniors and Morden Community Child Care Centre. Since 1996 over $615,000.00 has be distributed to local organizations. The organization serves the communities of Morden, Thornhill, Darlingford and La Riviere. The goal of the 2009 fundraising campaign is $80,000.00. 100% of a gift given to the annual United Way fundraising campaign is invested in our community thanks to a grant from the Province of Manitoba for United Way administration costs.
